The company history begins in 1900, when W.C. Coleman started trading in lamps as a young man.

By the end of World War I, Coleman had sold 70,000 lamps built by his newly formed company.

The construction of a factory complex and the expansion of the production program, as well as large orders from the US military are milestones in the Coleman success story that continues to this day.
