FROWO
The company was founded in 1878 by Hermann Fröhlich. At first, it was run as a small family plumbing business. In 1912 the company was handed over to Rudolf Fröhlich and Erich Wolter. The company was renamed Fröhlich & Wolter.
In 1926 the name under which the company is known to this day was entered – Frowo. The well-known trademark, the (shepherd) dog with a lantern, was also registered. The company continued to grow. Always in close competition with the company Nier - Feuerhand, which is also based in Beierfeld.
In 1972 the company was forcibly nationalized. The end came in 1994. Thus ended the history of the company Fröhlich & Wolter in Beierfeld (Saxony).
