PS / POS - Josef Kunzer´s company for "Metal and painted goods" (originally "Plechové a lakované zboží") was based in Prag-Smichow (Praha - Smíchov) in Czechoslovakia.

All sorts of everyday goods were manufactured here, from kitchenware to lanterns. Smichov was then an industrial part of Prague.

Josef Kunzer produced kerosene lamps probably between 1898-1919. The name of the lanterns was usually "Sonnenlaterne" (sun lantern), which is clear from the logo. These lanterns are very hard to find and really valued by collectors.
